Best Mexican Chili con CarneUser Submitted Recipe
2 cups water
1 lbs Brick Chili (Johnsons- Hot or regular Brick )
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic (crushed )
2 onions small (chopped )
1 Green pepper ( Chopped ) ( Bell pepper )
2 cans tomato sauce ( 8oz ) cans
Salt and pepper to taste
3 to 4 cups cooked pinto beans
In Saucepan heat water & mix Brick Chili until it is mixed. Heat all other ingredients with cooked drained ground beef. Then add to your brick chili mixture heat throughly and simmer 1 hour stirring often. Simmer 1 hour and mix frequently Note If using regular Brick Chili, you can add chili powder to taste if you want it will be spicy!
