Pop Burger and Field Greens

Pop Burgers


Turkey & Pork sliders with a spicy kick and a burst of blue (or bleu) cheese flavor.
Add a notch of heat and a Pop to your burgers.
Top with one of these toppings or all for fun tastes
Creamy Cole Slaw
Micro Greens drizzled with Italian Dressing
Buffalo Remoulade and Sautéed Mushrooms"

Ingredients

Finely chop the following ingredients:
1/2 medium white onion
1/2 small green Bell pepper
Season with a small pinch kosher salt and white pepper
Add 3-4 cloves of finely chopped garlic for about 3 minutes
In a mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients
1 lb fresh ground turkey
1 lb fresh ground pork
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more or less for heat)
1 medium egg
2 tbsp Ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese

Whole Wheat Slider Rolls
Butter


Instructions

Finely chop the following ingredients: ½ medium white onion, 1/2 small green Bell pepper,
Season with a small pinch kosher salt and white pepper
Sauté until onions are transparent and Peppers are soft
Add 3-4 cloves of finely chopped garlic for about 3 minutes
Cool ingredients down
In a mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients: 1 lb fresh ground turkey, 1 lb fresh ground pork, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon white pepper,1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 medium egg, 2 tbsp Ketchup, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, Add sautéed onions, peppers and garlic
Store mixture in refrigerator for 1 hour
Roll mixture into 2-3 oz. balls
Press thumb into center of each meatball
Add 1-2 teaspoon(s) blue cheese
Shape meat ball into a small patty covering cheese
Fry burgers until internal temperature of 165
Serve on buttered toasted whole wheat slider rolls
Top with one of the following:
Creamy Cole Slaw
Micro Greens drizzled with Italian Dressing
Buffalo Remoulade and Sautéed Mushrooms
