Moist, butter-free bread for the whole family. Whole grains, vitamin C, & fiber hidden by deliciousness. My husband, 4 & 1/2 year old, and 10 month old love this bread; that hardly ever happens!

Ingredients
1 C. AP Flour
1 C. Whole Wheat Flour
1 T. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1 C. Natural Applesauce
1 C. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C. Buttermilk (Reduced Fat)
Instructions
Sift Dry Ingredients to combine. In separate bowl beat applesauce & sugar until well combined. Beat in eggs. Stir in dry ingredients and buttermilk, alternating, in small batches. Pour into greased 9" loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan, on a rack.
