Baby Beef

Ingredients

1 pound beef (such as London broil), trimmed of fat and cut into 1⁄2-inch cubes


Instructions

Place beef in a steamer basket to fi t a 3- to 4-quart saucepan filled with one inch of water. Place a tight fitting lid on pan and place over high heat. When liquid comes to a boil turn heat down to medium. Steam beef for 20 to 25 minutes, until completely cooked through.
Place beef in the Cuisinart® food processor fitted with the metal chopping blade.
Pulse for ground beef and process for a finer ground. For a smoother purée, process with cooking liquid until the desired consistency is achieved.
