Cookies

Ingredients

2 cups brown sugar
l cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp water
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
optional 1 cup chopped nuts


Instructions

Mix just as written ; nuts optional; roll in roll and wrap in wax paper or saran and refrigerate for at least an hour; slice and bake at 325 till nice golden brown
