1-1/2 pounds yellow squash, trimmed and cut to fit processor feed tube
Instructions
Assemble Cuisinart® food processor with 4mm slicing blade. Slice squash and place in steamer basket to fit a 3 to 4-quart saucepan filled with one inch of water. Place a tight fitting lid on pan and place over high heat. When liquid comes to a boil turn heat down to medium. Steam squash for about 15 mins., until extremely soft.
Place steamed squash in the Cuisinart® work bowl fitted with metal chopping blade. Process for 20 seconds. Scrape work bowl. Process for 20 more seconds.
Allow mixture to cool. Store in refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or fill ice cube trays or other 1-ounce containers to freeze.
