Beef Barbecue

This is one of my family's favorites.
I serve this with cole slaw and corn on the cob."

Ingredients

4 pound top or bottom round roast.
4 to 6 rolls
2 medium onions chopped
4 Tbs. vegetable or olive oil
4 Tbs. white vinegar
4 Tbs. brown sugar
1/2 Tbs. lemon juice
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs mustard
1 cup water
dash cayenne pepper


Instructions

Saute onion in oil.
Add remaining ingredients one at a time.
Simmer about 1/2 hour.
Add thinly sliced beef.
Simmer additional 1/2 hour.
