Slow Cooked Porkchops
User Submitted RecipeIngredients
4 (1/2") center cut pork chops
vegetable oil
orange marmalade
green bell pepper pieces
cooked rice
mashed potatoes
pasta
Instructions
Brown pork chops that have been sprinkled with salt and pepper in a skilllet with a little oil. Wash and slice a small green bell pepper in thin slices. After browning the meat, place in a slow cooker, scatter the bell pepper pieces around the meat, and cover the meat with orange marmalade. Cook on low (depending on size of porkchops) approximately 5-6 hours on low or on high about 4 hours. Using a sharp knife, pierce meat to check for doneness. Before serving, heat some more of the orange marmalade and spread on the meat. Serve with cooked rice, mashed potatoes or pasta.
