Pork Chops
User Submitted RecipeTastiest Pork Chops from a true Southern Lady
Ingredients
4 Bone In or center cut pork chops
2 cups celery, chopped
2 cups onions, chopped
Seasoned salt
Traditional tomato sauce
Instructions
In your heated skillet with a tad of olive oil in bottom, sprinkle your pork chops with seasoned salt on both sides to taste. Brown both sides of chops to nice brown color. Take 1/2 cup of celery and 1/2 cup onions and place on top of each pork chop. Pour large can of Traditional Tomato sauce over the chops carefully so you dont ruin the mound of celery and onions on top. Cover and cook 3 hours on med/low. Serve with rice and it is absolutely delicious. Steam additional vegetable if you so choose. Broccoli is always excellent as your vegetable.
