Chicken ChiantiUser Submitted Recipe
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 cup chianti wine
1 tablespoon basil
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
Pepper to taste
2 fryer chickens, quartered
Mix ingredients well and brush onto chicken pieces. Reserve remaining marinade. In the refrigerator, marinate chicken several hours, turning occasionally. Grill over gray coals, basting frequently with reserved marinade, for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Be careful not to have the fire too hot, or the outside of the chicken will burn!
