Can-Can Chicken

"Ingredients
1 whole chicken
1 can beer
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 sprigs rosemary
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Juice of 1 lemon
For Rub:
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
Combine all rub ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Set aside for later. Sprinkle the chicken fully with rub, including the inside cavity. Open the can of beer and drink half of it. Place garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, and pepper flakes into the can; pierce two more holes on the top of the beer can for pressure release. Place chicken on top of can. Preheat grill to medium heat. Place chicken on grill and balance on the beer can. Grill over indirect medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until internal temperature is 175 degrees. Remove chicken and let sit for 10 minutes before plating.
