Ground Beef and Orzo

Delicious hearty easy meal"


1 lb. ground chuck or ground turkey
1 c. chopped onions
1 green pepper, diced (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 can beef broth
3/4 c. orzo (or rice)
Grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. oregano


Brown beef and onions; drain fat. Cook, stirring in green peppers, salt, oregano, tomatoes, broth, and orzo. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and cover. Simmer. Remove to serving dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
