BBQ Round Steak with Potatoes
INGREDIENTS
1.5 - 2 lb boneless round steak (not tenderized)
1 large jar barbecue sauce (not a thick sauce)
6 - 8 lg russet potatoes
1/4 tsp cayenne (to taste)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
salt
pepper
flour
Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Peel and quarter lengthwise the potatoes. Rinse to wash off excess starch.

Season both sides of steak with salt and pepper, sprinkle flour over both sides of steak to cover. Wrap with plastic wrap and beat with flat side of meat tenderizer on both sides.

Heat oil in dutch oven on stovetop, until just smoking. Brown steak in dutch oven on both sides.

Take dutch oven off stove, Add potatoes to pot. Pour barbecue sauce over steak and potatoes. Cover and bake in oven for 2 - 3 hours, until steak and potatoes are very tender.

Skim fat off top and serve, using sauce as a gravy.
