BBQ Beef Brisket

Slow Cooker When It Is Too Hot To Grill


1/4 C Worchestershire sauce
1 C Water
1 Tbspn Cider Vinegar
2 Tsp Instant Beef Bouillon Granules
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
10-12 lb Brisket
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
3 Tbspn Butter or Margarine


Combine in a bowl water, vinegar, worchestershire, garlic, bouillon granules, mustard, chili powder, & cayenne. Reserve 1/2 Cup of liquid for sauce, later. Put meat in a covered slow cooker 10 to 12 hrs on low or high for 5 to 6 hrs with the rest of the liquid. For Serving Sauce: heat reserved liquid with butter, ketchup, and brown sugar.
