Soda Burgers

“ Top hamburger bun with beef mixture. Sprinkle chopped celery and onion on just before serving"

Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 can coke or pepsi
2 cu. ketchup
1 c. water
1 T. dry mustard
1 T. chili powder
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. liquid smoke
1/2 cu. wine vinegar
1 cu. brown sugar


chopped fresh celery
chopped sweet onion


Instructions

Brown beef in small amount of oil and soda and cook until reaches 145 degrees. Add the rest of ingredients and simmer for 1 hr.
