Cajun BBQ Shrimp


1-1/2 cups unsalted butter
3 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon *Tabasco® sauce
4 bay leaves
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pound shrimp (16 – 20)
1 lemon, cut in 6 pieces


Preheat a Cuisinart™ Electric Skillet to 200°F; melt butter. Add garlic, shallots, Worcestershire, Tabasco®, bay leaves, paprika, rosemary, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Add shrimp; adjust heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes; turn shrimp and cook until opaque, about 3 to 5 minutes longer. Garnish with lemon wedges. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
