Stuffed Green Peppers
User Submitted Recipe
“
I always loved when my mom would make these for supper. I think the rest of the family enjoyed them as much as I did because we would all clean our plates. Now that I have a family of my own, this is my favorite recipe to cook. I also always invite mom to have supper with us when these are on the menu and she always cleans her plate."
Ingredients
4 green peppers
1 pound ground chuck
1 cup instant rice
1 jar of spaghetti sauce (divided)
2 eggs
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper 1/4 tsp each
Instructions
Remove top and seeds from peppers and rinse. set aside. Combine meat, rice, 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce, eggs, Worcestershire and salt and pepper. Mix well. Stuff into peppers and place on ungreased 9x9 square sided dish. Top with the rest of the spaghetti sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour.
