Meat and Potatoes Casserole


4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 tablespoon onion, chopped 1 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
1 pound extra lean ground beef
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup cracker crumbs or oatmeal
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a 2 quart baking dish, arrange evenly the thinly sliced potatoes, 1 tablespoon chopped onion, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, milk, cracker crumbs or oatmeal, catsup, 1/4 cup onion and 1 teaspoon salt. Spread over potatoes evenly. Bake for one hour.
