Easter Ham
User Submitted RecipeIngredients
1 3-4lb ham
1 cup of beer
Glaze:
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of flour
2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
beer to make a smooth paste
Instructions
Place ham in roasting pan. Pour beer over the ham; bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, baste with dripping every 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine ingredients for beer glaze. Remove ham from oven and score fat diagonally in criss-cross fashion. Stud with cloves and spread the beer glaze. Roast for 30-45 minutes longer, or until well glazed and cooked through. The internal temperature should be 135 degrees.
