A new take on an old classic - Dynamites
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 each green, red and yellow peppers, seeded and julienned
2 medium onions
2 large tomatoes
1 1/2 cup beef broth
3 - 6oz cans tomato paste
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon course salt
1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 small bunch Cilantro - chopped fine
1/2 stick butter
melt butter and saute onions and peppers in large saucepan. Add tomatoes and cook till softened. Add Beef Broth, hamburg and pork and seasonings. Stir until meat is fully cooked. Remove any grease from top. Add Tomato paste and mix well.
Please note the flavors will mesh much better when it is allowed to sit in fridge overnight.
Use Deli large size Hot Dog rolls to serve in
