Chicken & Dressing Casserole


1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 - 2 pkgs. Pepperidge Farm Cornmeal stuffing (small)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
6-7 chicken breasts
2 C. chicken broth


Stew chickens in broth until done. Let chicken cool and cut into bite size pieces. Melt butter and stir into cornmeal dressing, coating well. In a 9 x 13 baking dish, put a layer of dressing, then a layer of chicken. In blender, combine 1 can chicken soup and 1/2 can chicken broth and pour over chicken. Then add another layer of dressing, then chicken, then celery soup diluted with 1/2 can chicken broth. Pour over chicken . Put the rest of dressing on top. Pour 1/2 can broth over the top of casserole. Bake on 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until firm.
