Lindsey's Potato Casserole

Ingredients

2lb bag hash browns (square shaped, not shredded)
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
16 oz. sour cream

*Topping*
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 stick butter, melted


Instructions

Pre-heat oven 350

Mix together hash browns, melted butter, salt, pepper, onion, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream. I like to add the melted butter last to the bowl so it doesn't harden from the frozen hash browns. I also find that mixing with my hands works the best. After you are done mixing the casserole together, put into a 9x13 casserole dish.

Mix the 2 cups corn flakes and melted butter together in a separate bowl. Careful not to mash the cornflakes! Sprinkle over the casserole.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350 and enjoy!
