“
Cuban style fried beef hash. The citrus flavors the beef and makes it yummy!"
Ingredients
2 lb. sirloin or chuck roast
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp. lime juice
2tbsp. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic minced
salt and pepper
Vegetable oil
Instructions
Cook roast in water to cover and bay leaf for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until it is tender and easy to shred. Cool until it can be handled easily. Shred beef with two forks. Marinate shredded beef in lemon juice, lime juice, salt and pepper to taste for at least one half hour. The sirloin will absorb the juice more than the chuck roast, but both taste fantastic when finished.
When finished marinating fry shredded beef in vegetable oil until crispy. Serve with white rice.
