Curried Rice and Prawns or Shrimp

a wonderful and easy dinner, takes about 15 min. to prepare. You can also add chopped peppers, mushrooms or whatever you like!


2 TBLSP. OLive oil
1 large onion chopped
1 whole bulb of garlic chopped
2 TBLSP. flour
3/4 cup cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. curry or more to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. seasoning salt
2 TBLSP. fresh chopped parsley
1 pound of prawns or shrimp


Saute onion and garlic till see through, add flour and stir, Add liquid to a saucy consistency, add spices and sugar. (Can be made ahead of time)
Just before serving add the Prawns and shrimp.
Cook rice before adding prawns!
