BEans and Spice and Everything Nice
Turkey Chili "


1 lb Ground Turkey
1 Green Pepper diced
1 Onion diced
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 jalapeno diced
3T Chilli powder
2T Cumin
1tsp cayenne pepper
2T Olive Oil
2T chopped cilantro
1 bay leaf
1 15 ou. can black beans (drained)
1 15 ou. can pinto beans (drained)
1 15 ou. can red beans (drained)
1 6 ou. can corn (drained)
1 15 ou. can chopped tomatoes
1 ou. can tomato sauce
1T Peanut butter
Topping Ingredients, shredded cheese, avocado, jalapeno peppers, sour cream, corn chips.


Saute vegetables and spices in the olive oil. Add the ground turkey and cook until brown. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, corn, and peanut butter. Stir and simmer for 20 min. Check for seasoning. Add S&P to taste, dash of hot sauce. Stir and simmer for another hour to let the flavors blend.
Enjoy with toppings of chopped avocado, chopped jalapeno peppers, shredded cheddar or jack cheese, and sour cream. Even crumbled corn chips are a good topper!
