Vegan Baked Mac 'n Cheese



nutritional yeast
mustard powder
crushed chillies
plain soy milk or other milk substitute
earth balance
box of macaroni
bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Boil macaroni in a pot till al dente. Drain and set aside.

Melt 4 tbsp of earth balance in a saucepan over medium heat.

Stir in 8 tbsp of nutritional yeast and 2 tbsp of four and blend.

Slowly whisk in 2c of your choice of a PLAIN "milk" (I prefer plain soy milk because its the creamiest.)

Add 1 tbsp each of mustard powder, pepper and dried crushed chillies add salt to taste.

Continue to whisk until it begins to boil and thicken. When it has reached a desired thickness, mix in macaroni.

Put the pasta mixture on a baking dish and cover with bread crumbs.

Bake for 15 minutes.
