Mom's Easy Crawfish Etouffee

This is a mouth watering delicious etouffee yet so simple to make, it is different because its more creamy than most etouffee's and there is not as much butter used which is a bonus.


4 pounds (4)(4.16 oz)bags LA Crawfish
3 Med. Size Onions
2 Green Bellpeppers
1 Stick Butter
4 Cans Golden Mushroom
1 Can Cheddar Cheese


Saute chopped Onions and bellpeppers in butter until translucent add can mushroom and cheese plus 3 1/2 - 4 cans water.
Cook 30-40 min on low heat. Add crawfish cook additional 15 min. and serve over rice and enjoy!
