Lamb Chops in Piquant SauceUser Submitted Recipe
2 tbsp-olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
4 lamb chops, approx. 1 inch thick.
*make sauce for chops see below.
Make a marinade of first five ingredients; marinade chops at least 2 hours or overnight. Remove chops from marinade.
*sauce: (can prepare sauce ahead of time)1 tsp oregano,1/4 tsp-salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp prepared mustard,1 clove garlic, minced.
Spread sauce on chops both sides. Broil at high heat 400 degree approx.7 to 10 min on each side, or barbeque on high approx. 7 minutes on each side. We prefer to barbeque chops.
