CABBAGE CASSEROLE

Great Cabbage dish"

Ingredients

1 lb. ground meat (lean ground chuck)
1 lb. port sausage (Jimmy Dean or other) cut into small pieces
1 16 oz, can Whole Tomatoes
1 med size onion
1 cup raw rice
1 tablespoon Chile powder
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic salt or 3 pods fresh garlic
1 bell pepper - diced
1 medium cabbage - cut & separated
1 egg


Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a covered roaster. DO NOT ADD ANY LIQUID. Bake at 350 deg. for 1-1/2 hours. Stir a couple of times.
