New American Chicken/Turkey

One skillet meal with a southwestern flare. This is a quick meal that is excellent."

Ingredients

6 bonless skinless chicken breasts or one large turkey brest
One onion, chopped
salsa- 2 cups
refried beans -1 can
2 cups crushed tortilla chips
2 cups grated cheese
Cilantro for garnish
rice
olive oil 2 tbsp


Instructions

in large skillet, add oil, brown onions, add chicken/turkey, brown; HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN PUT INGREDIENTS IN MIXER AND THEN PUT IT ALL ON TOP OF THE CHCKEN/TURKEY, IF YOU WANT TO DO IT WITHOUT THE MIXER THEN YOU CAN put refried beans on top of browned meat, put salsa on beans, put chips on beans and put cheese on top of everything. Cover and cook on low/med for 30-45 min until chicken/turkey is done.
In spearate container, cook rice according to directions.
Serve rice on plate and scoop one New American Chicken serving on tope of rice. Garnish with cilantro.

after the chicken is browned
put remaining ingredients in mixer and then spread over browned chicken.
