Bri's Roast Beef

This is a very awesome roast beef best served with mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuits. You may also serve with egg noodles as well. The gravy should make itself while cooking all day. If you prefer it to be thicker, remove roast right before serving and whisk in flour/water mixture."


Beef or deer roast 2-4 lbs
1 large container of beef broth
1 packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix(dry)
1 large can Campbells' Cream of Mushroom Soup
1-2 cup water (depending on roast size-add enough to cover roast)
2 tsp. pepper
salt to taste(salt is usually not needed-all in preference)


Whisk all ingredients together, place roast in mixture. This can be cooked in oven, crock pot, or electric roaster. If using a crock pot, I start it late the night before and cook all night long plus all day. Start on high, and reduce heat to low in morning. if cooking in oven or electric roaster, cook on 350 from morning till ready to eat ( usually 7am-5:30pm)
