Butterscotch Delights

Unique cookie treats."


1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
5 oz. butterscotch chips
5 oz. white chocolate chips
4 oz. toffee bits


Cream together butter, shortening and sugars. Add vanilla, mix well. Add eggs, mix well. Add 1/2 cup flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, mix well. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups flour, mix well. Add chips and toffee bits, mix well. Add remaining flour, mix well. Dough should be firm enough to hold shape; if it seems a little "loose", add a little more flour.

Using 1 Tbsp. scoop, place cookies on heavy duty, parchment paper lined cookie sheets, about 2" apart. Bake at 350F for about 11-13 minutes, until cookies just begin to brown. Cool on cooling racks.
