Orange Pudding CakeUser Submitted Recipe
3/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup all purpose flour
1/8 Teaspoon salt
1 Cup Milk
4 Tablespoons margarine
1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 Cup Fresh orange juice
2 Teaspoons grated orange peel
* Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease glass baking dish. In large bowl, whisk sugar, flour and salt until combined. Whisk in milk, egg yolks, and next 4 ingredients until smooth.
* In small bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat egg whites to soft peaks. Fold one fourth of orange mixture into whites; fold whites back into orange mixture until evenly combined.
*Pour batter into baking dish. Place dish in roasting pan; carefully pour boiling water into roasting pan to come halfway up sides of dish. Bake 40 minutes, or until top is golden. Serve warm.
