Pumpkin Fudge

Like pumpkin flavored penuches.



1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup sorghum syrup
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 cup pumpkin pie filling
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup nuts


Put everything but the nuts in a pot and stir constantly over medium heat until melted and combined. Reduce heat and simmer for ten minutes until temperature reached 238 degrees on a candy thermometer. Stir in the nuts and pour into a square, oil-spray coated baking pan. Cool for at least one hour and refrigerate until solid. Cut and eat 'em up!
