Ritzy Pepper Ice CreamUser Submitted Recipe
Cheesecake ice cream with a peppery punch
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup half & half
3 T lemon juice
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sugar
2 c heavy cream
1/2 c Ritz Munchable Buttery thins mini crackers
1/4 c Green Pepper Jelly
Mix softened cream cheese and half and half in a blender until smooth. Add lemon juice & vanilla and blend. Pour into large mixing bowl. Add sugar; mix with wire whip to dissolve. Fold in 2 cups heavy cream. Pour into ice cream maker (I use the Cuisinart). Run for 20 min. Meanwhile, break the mini crackers into quarters. Chill. When ice cream is done, move into clean mixing bowl. Fold in the crackers. Layer the mixture in freezer container with swirls of the pepper jelly . Freeze and enjoy!
