Ingredients

1 Cup Butter or Margarine
1 Cup Walnuts (chopped)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
3/4 Cup Dates (chopped)
3 Eggs
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
3 Tbsp. Maraschino Cherry Juice 1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Small Bottle Maraschino Cherries (chopped)
3 Cups Flour

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until well blended. Stir in dry ingredients and drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes.
Yields about 70 small cookies
