Dutch Peach Coffee Cake
This moist, light cake is served along side bacon and eggs at our traditional holiday breakfasts.

INGREDIENTS
For the cake:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
4 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter

For the peach topping:
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
1 can sliced peaches drained
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Into a large bowl sift flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together.
In a small bowl beat egg, then add milk.
Stir into dry ingredients along with the melted butter.
Spread into a 9” buttered baking dish (pie plate).

In a small bowl mix all the peach topping except the peaches.
Place peach slices on top of cake in a decorative manner.
Sprinkle crumbly butter mixture over and between peaches.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick stuck in middle comes out clean or with just a few crumbs sticking to it .
