Creme de mint bars


Minty chocolate treats
Three layered minty brownie

Browned butter frosting
Bitter chocolate glaze"

Ingredients

1 package dark chocolate brownie mix
4 T butter
1 1/2 c powder sugar
2 T creme de menth liquor
3 squares bitter chocolate squares


Instructions

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions in a 9 inch square pan - do not overbake. Cool

Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in sugar and creme de menth making a smooth icing. Note: add additional creme de menth or milk if icing is too thick to spread smoothly

Spread icing over cooled brownies.

Melt chocolate in a small bowl set over boiling water.

Drizzle melted chocolate over icing.

Let set until chocolate rehardens.
Cut into small squares and serve
