Chocolate nut pie


Ky Derby favorite
“ A Derby week favorite all of Kentucky"

Ingredients

1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 t vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Whipped cream


Instructions

In mixer, blend sugar, flour, eggs, and butter. Add nuts, chips and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake 1 hour at 325 F. Serve warm with whipped cream
