Red White and Blue takes a favorite Cookie and makes it great for your 4th!
2 dozen chocolate chip cookies,frozen
7 ounces white chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
7 ounces red chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
7 ounces blue chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
Red White and Blue Flag Cookies:
Line two large cookie sheets with parchment paper. Remove 12 cookies from the freezer. Dip each cookie in the blue chocolate to cover halfway. Place tray in refrigerator to set chocolate, around 5 minutes. Remove tray from refrigerator and dip the cookies in the melted white chocolate, leaving a 1/4 inch blue line. Return to refrigerator for an additional 5 minutes. Remove tray from refrigerator and dip the cookies in the melted red chocolate, leaving a 1/4 inch white line. Refrigerate cookies for approximately 5 minutes to set chocolate. Repeat with remaining 12 frozen cookies. Serve at your 4th of July barbecue to your patriotic guests!
Red White and Blue Chocolate Drizzle Cookies:
Line two large cookie sheets with parchment paper. Place cookies on the cookie sheets. Using a spoon, or decorating bag with a small hole cut at the bottom, first drizzle melted red chocolate, then melted white chocolate, then melted blue chocolate on the cookies. Refrigerate cookies until chocolate is set, about 5 minutes. Serve with the Red White and Blue Flag cookies for a patriotic cookie display!
