Fat-Free, Almost Sugar-Free Key Lime PieUser Submitted Recipe
Delicious diabetic alternative
1/3 cup of boiling water
1 packet of Sugar-Free Lime Jello
2- 6 oz Fat-Free Light Key Lime Pie Yogurts (Yoplait)
1 container of Fat-Free Cool Whip
1 Reduced Fat Graham Cracker Pie Crust (Keebler’s)
1 Medium sized bowl
1 Stirring Spoon or Whisk
Completely dissolve 1 packet of Jello with 1/3 cup of boiling water in a medium sized bowl (stir well). Recipe calls for 1/4 cup of boiling water, but it’s better with 1/3 cup. Stir in 2 yogurts. Stir in Cool Whip. Pour into pie crust and freeze 2-3 hours. Squeeze fresh lime or Italian lemon on top for extra flavor!
Experiment with other flavors like peach, lemon, cherry or strawberry!
