Ingredients

Self- Filled Cupcakes

1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate Chips


Instructions

Prepare cake mix according to package instructions. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full. Cream together softened cream cheese, sugar, salt and egg. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful of cheese mixture into each cupcake center. Bake according to cake mix directions for cupcakes. Chill and leave plain or ice with favorite vanilla or chocolate icing.
