Mom's Best Banana Cake
User Submitted RecipeEverybody's favorite!
“
Want a new and delicious way to use your over-ripe bananas? Everyone loves this cake so much that I let bananas ripen on purpose! Quick and easy, but tastes like you worked for hours."
Ingredients
1 yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
3 ripe bananas, mashed.
3 eggs
1/3 c oil
1/2 c water
1/2 t baking powder
For Topping:
1/2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c (1/2 stick) butter
Instructions
Mix together all cake ingredients using the dough blade of the food processor. Let mix for 2 minutes. Pour into 9X13 greased and floured cake pan.
Using the knife blade of the food processor, pulse together the topping ingredients to make crumbles that are no larger than pea size. Sprinkle over top of cake.
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350F.
Can be eaten plain or topped with whipped cream and fresh banana slices.
