Raspberry Salad or DessertUser Submitted Recipe
Do-Ahead , 3-Layer Salad or Dessert
4 cups raspberries
1 large package raspberry jello
1 small package raspberry jello
1 large can condensed milk
1 cup sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. water
1 t. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Layer 1: Put jello in large bowl, add 3 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add 2 3/4 cups cold water, stir. Pour 2 cups jello into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate to set until firm. Keep remainder of jello at room temperature.
Mix, stir, and bring condensed milk and sugar to a boil in pan. Dissolve unflavored gelatin in 1/3 cup water and add to milk mixture. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir. Set aside to cool. When Layer 1 is firm and milk mixture is cool, pour over first layer, and refrigerate until firm.
Layer 3: Place raspberries evenly over Layer 2. Pour remaining raspberry jello over fruit and refrigerate!
