Crockery Cherry Cobbler
User Submitted Recipe
“
This dessert is super easy to make, and dangerously addictive! You can also try out different pie fillings or cake mix flavors. I've done the cherry with chocolate cake mix before, and I've also tried it with blueberry and apple pie filling."
Ingredients
2 21 oz. cans cherry pie filling
1 8.25 oz. package yellow cake mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
Pour pie filling into a greased 5 quart slow cooker; spread evenly. In a large mixing bowl, cut butter into dry cake mix until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over pie filling. Sprinkle with the chopped walnuts. Cover and cook on low for about 2.5 hours. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
