Bake for approx. 9 minutes depending on size of cookie.
My favorite thing about this cookie dough is you don't have to refrigerate it so you can mix and bake without a lull in between!
Also, I change up the extract flavor throughout the year. In the spring time, I add lemon extract for a fresh flavor. I've also used almond extract and it tastes yummy! You can also add pretty sprinkles to the top before baking.

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Then add eggs and vanilla. Slowly blend in flour, baking powder and salt until all is well blended.
Roll out dough onto counter top or on cutting board about to a nice 1/4" thickness and start using any style cookie cutter.
