Soft M&M Cookies


2 cups white lily all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups mini baking M&M's


Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla and almond flavorings and eggs until creamy. Mix in dry ingredients just till blended. Stir in the M&M's by hand. Put dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes then measure cookie dough into 1/4 cup balls and place on the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies will spread so be sure to leave enough room between them.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted(DON'T OVER BAKE). Cool on baking sheets
