Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

Snickerdoodles:

2 1/2 cups of flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 stick of unsalted butter
1/2 cup canola oil
2 cups white sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
2 eggs


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 Degrees and grease baking sheets.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine butter, oil and 1 3/4 cups of sugar until fluffy.
Incorporate eggs. Then add dry ingredients and beat to combine.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar and the cinnamon.
Form balls from the dough mixture and roll in the cinnamon-sugar.
Place on baking sheets approximately 2 inches apart (they will certainly rise!)
Bake until cookies begin to set and crack (about 10 minutes)
