Butter Horns

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1 egg divided
3/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts (Walnuts or Almonds, or Nut of your choice)


Instructions

Preheat 375° oven
Sifted Flour twice
Cut in Butter to flour with finger tips.
Add egg yoke and sour cream. Mixing well.
When blended shape into a ball, sprinkle with a little flour and wrap in waxed paper.
Chill in refrigerator for several hours
Chop until nuts are fine.
Combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon.
Divide dough into 4 parts.
Roll out dough in circle to 1/8 thick.
Sprinkle dough with 1/4 nuts, sugar and cinnamon mixture
Cut into 12 wedges.
Roll up each part starting with the widest portion.
Place on a lightly greased Cookie Sheet
Bake 375 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool before removing from cookie tray.
