10 Minute Fudge

Ingredients

1 2/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp butter (no substitute)
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup undiluted evaporated milk (1 small can)
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cup miniature marshmallows, packed lightly
1 tsp vanilla (or substitute any other flavor extract, i.e. cherry)


Instructions

Over medium heat in a medium sized saucepan, mix sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk until bubbles form around the edge.

Gently boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly.

Take off the heat and mix in rest of the ingredients until all are melted and blended smoothly.

Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 inch square pan and cool overnight.

Putting in the refrigerator will speed up cooling but may dry out a little bit.
